This is must cigar for the Humidor, it is every day cigar when you want to post your nicotine level up, taste like chocolate and should be paired with something strong.
This is a slightly unfair review, but it is a parable, a cautionary tale, a word to the wise. Do not smoke this cigar when it is 30 degrees outside. It was the first Partagas I had ever smoked, I knew the brand was a full-flavoured one and was perhaps intimidated by its reputation and also the disarmingly simple labels, I felt they were straight to the point and intimidating, not flamboyant like others. I picked this up in Havana, and smoked it as I walked the streets of Old Town, after which I needed a lie down and lots of water (not from the tap). Perhaps had I tried this when I took a trip to Norway in winter, it may have sat better with me, as it stands, I am too frightened to return.

Great cigar. Like all better with a little age. One to savour.
