My Biography

Aside from the cigars but I am also passionate on Cuban music, Cuban rum and Cuban salsa dancing

What was the first cigar you ever smoked?

Trinidad Reyes, at 100 Wardour Street back when before there was a indoor smoking ban in the UK. I asked the shop keeper to help choosing a beginner's cigar and so he went for the smallest one in the humidor. I distinctively remember that I got a little upset having thought that the brand was actually from the country Trinidad, while my other friends where smoking Cubans!

Which is your desert-island cigar?

Vegas Robaina Familiares - First introduced to me by the great Max Foulkes of Davidoff London, nothing beats a well aged Robaina cigar. Silky smooth smoke with a nice hint of butter, light wood, earthy, tea leaves notes that lingers on the palate.

What is the worst cigar you’ve ever smoked?

Romeo y Julieta Mille Fleurs. I am not entirely sure what happened but I had this cigar paired with an ice coffee and it had this horrible sour and bitter aftertaste... It could have been the coffee but the overall experience was so bad that I tend to stay far away from this stick. I should really give it another try some day.
